Welcome to Mersea Island Young Players, the resident youth theatre group at the MICA Centre, Mersea Island. Established in 2000, we are a non-profit community based performing arts group, committed to producing performance opportunities for young people in the local area. Run by a team of dedicated enthusiastic volunteers and teachers, our key aim is to encourage and nurture the singing, dancing and acting talents of 7-17 year olds, performing much loved musicals and other theatre genres. 

We meet every Wednesday at The MICA Centre at 6-7:30pm where we rehearse for our upcoming shows.
